You can either place a direct order for a taxi to take you to the harbour or pre-order a ride. Please remember to reserve enough time for the journey so that you will make it to your ship.
For direct orders, please call 0100 0700. The taxi will arrive within a few minutes of your order.
For preorders, please call 0100 0700. The taxi will pick you up at the agreed time. Pre-orders should be placed no later than half an hour before the desired pick-up time. Pre-ordering your ride helps you to avoid stress and you can focus all your energy on your upcoming journey instead. (Call rates 2.76 €/tel. + 0.35 €/min, the queuing is free of charge)
You can also use the Taksi Helsinki app to place direct orders taxis quickly and easily. Simply select the harbour you are headed to from the list of destinations, and the app will display the duration and approximate price of the journey.
The West Harbour has two terminals, West Terminal 1 and West Terminal 2. There is a taxi rank in front of both terminals where the returning customer can choose a taxi for their ride back home.
In front of West Terminal 2, there is a taxi rank that only has taxis from Taksi Helsinki and the other partner company that have formed a service agreement with Port of Helsinki. In these taxis, the customer can rely on a safe and reliable level of service and clear pricing. The customer may pick out a taxi of their choice from the queue.
In addition, a little further at West Terminal 2 you will find a taxi rank where you can find taxis from other companies.
West Terminal 1 is used by St Peter Line/Moby SPL’s ship to St. Petersburg and Tallink Silja’s MS Europe to Tallinn. Eckerö Line and Tallink Silja's ships to Tallinn depart from Terminal 2.
In front of the Terminal, closest to the Terminal building, there is a taxi rank that only has taxis from Taksi Helsinki and and the other partner company that have formed a service agreement with Port of Helsinki. Katajanokka Terminal is used by Viking Line’s ships to Tallinn and Stockholm.
In front of the Terminal there is a taxi rank from which the customer may pick out the taxi of their choice.
Tallink Silja operates daily routes to Stockholm from the Olympia Terminal.
Hansa Terminal does not have a seperate taxi rank; instead, customer may place an order for a taxi by phone or by using the Taksi Helsinki app. The Terminal’s address is Provianttikatu 5/Vuosaari harbour.
Finnlines ships operate routes to Travemünde in Germany from the Hansa Terminal.
