If the customer wants to stay longer than the normal tour time, the driver will charge 30 € per 30 minutes. So the extra time is the customer’s wish and the driver always fits separately with the customer.
 

What includes? Pick up from city center or airport, agreed sights and return to pick-up address.

When?

Anytime the customer wants. Please ensure the opening hours of the shops. For example, on Sundays, some shops are closed.

Helsinki Design District is a fairly large area in Helsinki which consists several design shops, restaurants and studios. Taksi Helsinki takes you to Fredrikinkatu, where you can find many different types of design shops. There you can find typical Finnish vintage stores, clothing stores, children’s stores and also a stationery store.

We recommend the following:

• Papershop. A beautiful stationery store selling notebooks and other paper products. Address: Fredrikinkatu 18
• Nahkakauppa. A leather store where you can find quality items such as fur products and raindeer hides. Address: Fredrikinkatu 20
• Second-hand book stores. Plenty of English books to be found with stories and art from Finland. Nice souvenirs for sale as well. Address: Fredrikinkatu 35
• Jukka Rintala Shop. Jukka Rintala is the one of the most famous Finnish fashion designer, especially known for his fabulous evening dresses. Address: Fredrikinkatu 26

2. Marimekko Outlet, Herttoniemi. www.marimekko.com

Marimekko is one of the most wll-known Finnish design houses famous for its prints and colours. Taksi Helsinki will take you to Herttoniemi, where one of the Marimekko factory is located. The factory includes an outlet where you can find Marimekko products cheaper than anywhere else!

3. Iittala & Arabia Design Center, Arabia. www.designcentrehelsinki.com

Iittala and Arabia are two of Finland’s best-known design and lifestyle brands. Design Center contains a store where you vcan find an extensive selection of Iittala ans Arabia dining and inerior products, such as Moomin mugs and Aalto vases.

Don’t forget to visit also the Design Museum Arabia, where you can explore the history of Arabia and Iittala. There is also the Design Lab Gallery with various events, lectures, workshops and exhibitions (notice that the Lab and Museum are closed on Mondays).
